Us
Catherine Midgley set up Insights Development in 2003 after 18
years experience in the corporate world. She has worked as a retail
buyer and managed product ranges and teams responsible for multi-million
pounds worth of sales and profits. Catherine re-trained in the mid
1990s as a training and leadership consultant, designing and delivering
development solutions for clients in the corporate sector.
In the late 1990s, Catherine trained with Coach U in the USA to
develop both personal and corporate coaching skills. Catherine has
worked with senior managers and directors from retail, IT, finance,
operations, product development and marketing. She also coaches
individual clients on life, career, relationship and confidence
issues.
Catherine is an experienced facilitator with a successful track
record, designing and delivering interventions promoting self-development,
leadership development, team collaboration, change management and
behavioural and cultural change at all management levels. Catherine
draws on a wealth of learning, expertise and experience to facilitate
higher levels of performance at work.
Catherine works with individuals, groups and teams to bring about
performance improvement through new approaches to personal effectiveness
and managing relationships in the workplace, aligned to business
goals. She is MBTI trained (Myers Briggs personality profiling),
a trained career counsellor and is widely experienced at the delivery
of 360 degree feedback. Catherine has published articles on leadership
development in a magazine for leaders in the pharmaceutical industry.
Catherine is warm, caring and energetic with a great interest in
human behaviour, focused on helping people fulfil their potential
in life.
